SINKING OF THE CONARGO.
MINED AND TORPEDOED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) , LONDON, April 6, It has b*en ascertained that the Conargo was mined or torpedoed. Four boats were launched, one of which immediately went away, while [the other three stood by; the ship,' hoping to effect salvage. While they'.' ; -were 7 there a, torpedostruck the bottom of the ship, Sinking* hei* and wrecking one of the boats and killing its occupants. .*
