The math weight of. the thrust seems to be west of. the Bois do Vairo. The Germans continue to fight desperately for the main Amiens road. Some, of the fighting yesterday was of the fiercest character. Tlie enemy massed early m the morning west of Dernacourt. We blew np tha neighboring Somme bridge. . : A very heavy attack followed, m which New Zealanders eventually repulsed the enemy after a ding-dong battle. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.)
