Seven hundred and forty-five vessels, aggregating 1,102,000 tons gross, have bean lost through war causes, and to the end of March 946 sailors have been drowned.; Fifty-three Norwegian vessels, whereof the crews exceed seven hundred, are missing, and it is believed two-thirds .thereof are war losses. i■ 7 I
