GERMANS TRYING TO HIDE THEIR SUBMARINE LOSSES.
GENEVA, Feb. 16. A Swiss engineer employed for the last ten months at the electrical works at Kiel, and who has recently returned, states that the Germans are making every effort to conceal their -submarine losses, especially from the navy, because o*" increased difficulty in 'mustering crews. •••• He estimated the Germans' lost 30 per cent, of their submarines during the time that he was- ati Kiel; yl s#w a.: score of submarines lined up in the canal undergoing repairs," h£ said.
