EVERYBODY'S. "The Mormon. Maid" programme attracted a full house at Everybody's on Saturday night. Mac Murray is the star In this* remarkable' story of the old days of Utah, when the "destroying angels" guarded the city with .such vigilance that no one could enter or leave without, their knowledge. The plot shows "how a beautiful girl, after trying ordeals, .was enabled to escape from the thraldom of. a life m which she would have to become one of the wives of a man she detestedThe, picture drama is full of interest throughout and Mac Murray's fine lead is well - supported by, the other artsits who take paTt m the production. The serial story "The Secret. Kingdom," is advanced another stage, and the current episide, "Rum Cay," is one of intense excitement. The thrilling adventures were followed with the keenest interest, and the boys especially became very demonstrative m their enthusiasm. The serial has evidently gripped - the large audiences most effectively, and each succeeding episode now eclipses the previous one i,n interest created. The supporting pictures included a fine Pathe Gazette. The programme will be shown again • tonight ami to-morrow night.
