ANOTHER ADVANCE Q'F TWO M"tLES. OPERATIONS EASTWARD OF THE JORDAN. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Renter's Telegram.) LONDON, March 30. A Palestine official report says: — Despite stubborn opposition, our operations eastward /of the Jordan continued successfully. The colonial thounteds destroyed several miles of the track of the' Hedja-z railway. . We also attacked westward ■of ■ th« ; Jordan on . the left and centre of our line, and advanced to a maximum depth of two miles on an eight miles front. We occupied Deersaman, Khummel- ' ikba, and Kluimmflbureid.
