4J At the half-yearly meeting of the-jjVic-toiia League held on Wednesdays the ; following votes of thanks were passed :— \ (1)- To the Tiniroto, Hangaroa, Pehiri, and Waerenga-o-kuri .districts; (2) to the Wharekopae, Tahora, . and Tahunga . districts. These districts raised substantial amounts on two Saturdays, Novem- ' ber ,24th and December Ist, m spite of ! many difficulties, particularly Weather and roads. (3) To Mrs. H. White, who ! has worked so successfully m organising 'the districts for the shop; (4) to Mr. Darton, who has been selling flowers for the benefit of the Red Cross Fund ; (5) Mr. W.
