Hall (claim l for £2000 damages m respect of death of claimant's husband), it was stated that Mr. Ofßegan was appearing for plaintiff, •j Mr Nolan intimated that Mr S-kerrett , « was retained for the defence, and was expected to arrive to-morrow. It was proposed to take the case on Monday if possible. ' The case of Woolsev Allen v. Fred- • crick Hall, claim for £6312 10s, Mr Nolan announced, had been settled by the parties at Auckland. • The registrar stated that the case of Percy v. Hay would stand till next sitting. 8 The chamber matter of Ross v. Bridge and another -(an originating summons), his Honor said would be taken to-mor-row-. In the case of Wi Waikare v. R. 6. Florance, a banco matteV, Mr Dunlop . , said he appeared fpr appellant. — To be heard to-morrow morning. | The banco matter of Orr v. Jefferson, his Honor directed should come on as soon as the jury cases were over. His Honor said he would take bankruptcy matters at 10 a^m. to-morrow; also the divorce case of Gush v. Gush '{motion for decree absolute). ■Mr Hei asked that the divorce case of Hale v. Edwards (a jury caselshould be heard before '■ Wednesday. His Honor said there was one other civil case ahead, ; and this matter might be reached late on Tuesday. ' His Honor proceeded to consider several Chamber matters. Up to 4. p.m. the jury had not returned with a verdict m the case alleging arson at the gas works ofiice.
