, (Per Press Association.) . DUNEDIN, this day. At the Supreme Court to-day, Mary Walker -was found not guilty of the murder of a newly-born infant. She pleaded guilty to concealment of birth, and was ordered to be detained for reformative purpose not more than five years.
GREYMOIJTH, this day. Public meetings called under the auspices of the Labor Representative Committee, held at Blackball and Runanga, passed resolutions requesting Mr Webb to stand again for the Grey seat. A petition, signed by the Mayor of Grey mouth, the chairmen of the Harbor Board, Chamber of Commerce, and County Council, and the president of the Port Watersiders' Union is m circulation, asking Mr T. E. Coates to stand to represent air classes, jiot one section only.
