As the outcome of 'the. noihiriatjons re ceived^ yesterday for -the Cook County Council, there will be three contests, in the following ridings :. Patutahi, Waimata;, and Hangarbii. Witters (Gisborne), F. S. Bowen (Muriwai), !E. B, Boland and G. M. Reynolds (Tolaga Bay). ... , Mr. E. Coop was elected to Waingake Riding, in place of Mr. Jex-Blake, who has been seriously ill.
