(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. In the Appeal Court m the Beard case ■Mr Myers, continued his argument for the Defence, dealing m detail with matters put forward by Mr Gray, and supporting Mr Gray's contentions. He referred specially to, the fact that Rangi had independent legal advice, and to the adequacy of the consideration paid by Beard and Chennels for Mangatima. The argument is unfinished. At the Magistrate's Court a boy of 9 years was remanded on a series of charges oi* breaking, entering, and theft at various business premises at Petone. It was also alleged that he endeavored to set fire to one establishment.
