vSALVED AND SOLD. LONDON, Oct. 10.'Some, .irritation has been caused through a leading firm selling Australian Red Cross com'fejrt* .salved 'from 'ai tonpedoed liner. The purchaser neglected to comply with the conditions and remove the labels from the goods, which showed the towns of Australia where they had been collected. y Odlbnel MHrrdoch, Red Cross Director* explains that when the ship was salved the poods hecame the salvor's property. The Red Cross Society preferred to accept the full insurance rather than risk buying damaged goods, but the society -•stipulated'- for tho removal of the labels from the goods before they were sold.
