'' Hamilton was; reported missing^ and subsequently was reported as being a prisoner of war m Germany.
Tlie British Local Government- Board enquiry, into the anthrax cases shows that almost all the infected shaving brushes traced were found to have come from one factory. Enquiry showed that the' lviir used^m making these brushes consisted m a great part of Chinese hair, which was found largely infected. The manufactured hair from the same source was found largely infected. The manu•facturer explained v that the hair was invoiced to him as goat's hair. Four "ther cases of anit-ra-x. were traced to brushes made m New York. A consignment of shaving brushes from Japan was found heavily infected with anthrax.
