The big J. C. Williamson-, pantomime wilt be presented at the Opera House on Monday and Tuesday nights,. July 9th and toth, with a matinee performance on the Tuesday' afternoon., Following, upon its enormous successes In Australia and those parts of the Dominion where it has been presented, , it' is anticipated that the theatre will be taxed to its' capacity during the run. A Sydney contemporary, describing this production, say.«: "Eighteen scenes, of beauty and artistic brilliancy are embodied m this year's pantomime from the scenic standpoint, and added to this are innumerable other charms. "The House that Jack nii'lt"- is, as full of good things as a typical Christmas pudding; therefore the crowris are going to the theatre even on tlie hot nights. The pantomime Is evidently proof against the amusement .tax too. which is a guarantee of its excellence. It is a i lovely I production, and as clfean and breezy as it- is beautiful. , The staging is exquisite, the dressing absolutely fascinating, and tho performance most finished and satisfying. -The dancing is one of the most important features this year, and it certainly ranks as something ' exceptional." In order to cope with the anticipated big demand for, seats for this huge production the box 'plans will be opened by Mr Miller's staff m the vestibule of the Opera House at 10 a.m. on Friday next.
