T> BSOLVED— That this Council hereX\; by authorises the raising of a Special Loan of £400, for the purpose of Metalling a part of Taurau Valley Road, the precedent consent of His Excellency the Governor having been obtained, and appears on page 187 of the N.Z. Gazette, 1917. The security for this Loan is a Special Rate of Two Farthings in the £1 on the Capital Value of all ratable property in the Taurau Valley Special Rating District for a period of 364 years, comprising Sections 7, 8, 9, and 3a, Block XII., Patutahi Survey District.
