MANGAPAPA COMMISSION.
Mr W*A. Barton, S.M., who has been appointed Commissioner to enquire into and report upon the cost of maintaining roads and bridges m the Mangapapn Town Board district, has not yet fixed a date for the opening of the Commission. This he will do as soon as he
cop ascertain the most suitable date for • the local bodies concerned. The Commission will be conducted under two heads, roads and bridges, and the schedules for the purposes of the eh-
quiry are as follows : — Bridges: That bridge m the Mangapj na Town District on Ormond road a 7£ chains north-west of the junction of Mary street with the said Orjnoml road; also that bridge on Ormond road over the Mangapapa
stream; also that bridge on Maugapapa road over the Manga papa stream about five chains east of Ormond road : also thai bridge on Oswald street over a branch of the Mangapapa stream ; also thai bridge on Mangapapa road over a branch of the Mangapapa stream about 7 A chains east of Oswald street. Roads: The following roads m tho Mangapapa Town District : Ormond road: Hospital road, running from Ormond road to the hospital site: private hospital road, running from the hospital site to the Valley road; Valley road, running from new hospital road to Mangapapa road; Mangapapa road, running from Valley road to Oswald street and from Oswald street to Ormond road; Oswald street between the aforesaid portions of Mangapapa road.
