It is believed he is 'taking the latest official details regarding the Laconia. Public opinion is most angry at the deaths of Mrs and Miss Hoey, and would support Mr Wilson if he decides that it is an overt act, but there is no indication as to Mr Wilson's course. It is expected he will await further details.
