He telegi-aphed that • the Alpin: and Beraaglieri, are continually progress Jng in the Fassa Alps, storming tin summits. Their present objective is U secure th© long stretch of the Dolomiti Road before winter, in order to facili tate supply and the transport of tin wounded. At present every stretcherbearer is exposed to. the peril of falling over precipices with the. wounded. The Bersaglieri ascended a height at an inclination of 70 degrees, storming a point to 'which they had to climb a! times perpendicularly. The Austriailt rolled' down avalanches of rocks, but the position was gained.
