GERMAN PROPAGANDA STILL GOING ON.

The Daily Chronicle's Athens correspondent says the landing of marines was exclusively due to the prbvocatiye attitude of the organisers of the review and mismanagement by the authorities. The military party have done their utmost to rouse the people against the Allies. The police have wholly abdicated their functions. The demonstrations continue, despite Government or-^ ders, evidencing a continued German propaganda. German Legation money nas flowed freely amongst purchaaeable roughs to an extent unknown even in Von Schenck'a palmiest days. ■Reactionaries believe that a show of force will defeat the Allies' measures. They were also persuaded that large German forcos were coming, to their aid by the 14th. When disillusioned they started a story 1 that the United States fleet was. coming to deliver Greece. The new force landed at Piraeus and made preparations to maintain oxder.
