Murphy quickly arrived on the scene, and Dr. Henry was also called m and did what he could for Marshall and Prior, but their wounds were so serious that he considered it advisable to have them both removed tp the hospital. Simmonds 'was arrested, and will be brought up at the Magistrate's Court to-morrow morning on charges of causing actual bodily harm to the other two ; men. Upon inquiry at the hospital to-day . ifc was learned* that Prior, who 'was cut about the right arm and shoulder, was progressing favorably,- but Marshall, who had several bad, though not serious, gashes about the head and a big cut I down through the abdomen, was not I doing too well.
