EXPORTS OF CHEESE.
PRODUCERS CONFER WITH THE : PREMIER. v ; . (Special to tue Herald.) , ■WELLINGTON, this day. Five delegates, representing a large deputation of cheese producers which, recently interviewed the >Pi*emier on the question of the Imperial .Government's requirements of the new season's output, will confer with Mr Ma«s'ey on Friday, when the English .terihs .will be submitted. It is understood that -the price offered shows an increase on last year, and as the whole output is not required, opportunities for marketing the portion not commandeered will ensure a good average, even ' though producers' would have liked \ a higher price from the Government than they are likely to be offered.
