A portion of the ensign mast of tho battle-cruiser New Zealand, struck by a German shell during the action with the German High Sea Fleet m the naval .battle off Jutland .on May 31, is now exhibited m tha' window of the New Zealand Government Office, Strand. Tho apar has been presented to tho people of New Zealand by the officers and men serving m the .ship at th^ time, and has been temporarily placed 'in the' midst of a very 1 fine "display of the wool industry of the Dominion.
