The principal items of expenditure for the period were: — Army, Nayv, and Munitions 379,000,000 Lofuu? to Allies ... ■ ... 157,000,000 Food supplies and railways 23,000,000 Still m hand .. ... 41,000,000 total !.. ... ... £600,000,000 Continuing, he said the average daily expenditure on the war was £3,950,000, and lie hoped the Army and Navy expenditure would not m the near f uture exceed the present level. The present vote should last until the end of October.
