SOLDIERS' CHILDREN.
ANOTHER INCREASE IN ALLOWANCE. (From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. Parliament received Avith hearty applause the announcement of Mr Allen that the Cabinet has agreed to a 5s per Aveek payment to- children of soldiers up to live children. ■ Cabinet 'had also given instructions that marriedmen with more than three children av|H not be-' enlisted under the voluntary principle, except for some special . reason. (Hear, hear.) The increase would operate, from July 1. -
