GERMAN SUBMARINE SUNK.

LONDON; April 28. Official : A German submarirVe has been sunk on the East Coast. The crew surrendered. r LONDON, April 28. Dutch newspapers state that the steamers Soerkarta and Kawi left, Falmouth together on the 15th for Rotterdam. The Soerakarta wirelessed that she had been stopped by a submarine. The Kawa rejoined the Soerakarta. and saw a submarine alongside with four persons on the deck. A British trawler, suddenly appeared out of the fog alongside the kawi. Her first shot cleared the submarine's decks and the second hit the submarine amidships. She sank m a few minutes; Tho trawler is said to have been lying m wait for the submarine for four daysIt was one of Germany's latest. The crew numbered 60.
