Ignatius Lincoln is a renegade member of the House of Commons, who went to America and made mischief there. Ii was proved that he was actually a German, who after a period of residence m England had got elected to Parliament* In consequence of his intrigues he was arrested m the United States on an extradition warrant from England, but managed to escape from custody. Ho •had confessed himself to be a German spy.
