The sports m .connection with the 'Old Settlers' picnic at Patutahi were continued this afternoon, further results being: — Flag race: R. Habgood 1. G. Campbell 2. Tilting m tho rfng (nine entries) ; : G. Campbell 1 Miss Rawnsley 2. 100 yds Handicap (4 . entries) • A. Albins 1, L. A. Robinson 2. Bicycle race, 1 mile (boys): J. Gallagher 1, Knight 2,- Atkins 3. Threading the needle race: K. Habgood and Miss J. Robb 1, R. Hansen and Miss Smith 2. 200 yds Handicap: E. Cassidy 1, L. Robertson 2, W. Dennett 3. Among the visitors during the afternoon was Sir James Carroll, who was expected to give an address.
