REINFORCEMENTS.
DRAFT FOR OCTOBER 10. A number- of alterations have been made m tho list of men selected to leave Gisborne on October 10. The following, who were selected for the draft leaving on the 17th, have been transferred to the first draft of infantry: A. H. Davis, D. Mullins, T. Iskirka, \V. Graham, and H. T.- Todd ; and -H. J. Richards goes with the first draft of mounteds. . .:-.... Of the 20 mounted men required the seven from Gisborne are arranged for, also twelve out of ■ the thirteen to be taken from Wairoa. Of the : infantry * draft of 70 men 44 of the Gisborne lot nave reported, leaving two more to be added, whilst 14 out of the 24 required • from Wairoa have been arranged for. Sergeant-Major Woodward leaves for v Wairoa next Wednesday to superintend the despatch of the Wairoa contingent to Napier, and to fill the vacancies.
