Roumania is' prepared. to put 300,000 men m the field m the event of either an Austro-German invasion of the Balkans, the entry of Bulgaria into the conflict, or the definite conquest of the Dardanelles.

Russia has sent Roumania half a million heavy coats and boots for mountain warfare.
