MELBOURNE, Sept. 9. Hides were m fair supplies with good competition. Prices were practically unchanged.
WELLINGTON, last night. New Zealand products exported during the week ended Tuesday last were valued as follows : Butter £2871, cheese £19,078, frozen lamb £74,894, frozen mutton £173,149, beef, etc., £13,360, gold £4995, grain and pulse £2461, hides and skins £35,374, kauri gum £1554, flax and tow £30,319, tallow £18,670; timber £11i212, wool £82,386.
DUNEDIN, last night. Tt is reported that buyprs bf the new season's output of cheese have advanced their prices and that some of the factor ies v have closed with offers of 7£d f.o.b. It is said that/ a conference of directors of cheese factories to be held at Invercargill to-onorrow may have a material bearing on pi-ices which -will be accepted for many of the factories m the Dominion.
