The Press Bureau states that Mr Asquith hag appointed a- committee with Lord Lansdowne as chairman to 'aavise the Government as to the best method of utilising the National Register for the successful prosecution of the war. The committee at its first sitting agreed to an interim report dealing with the conditions whereunder the most eligible shall register. Forms . will be made available for use of the dependants concerned. This will have the effect of indicating approximately, the cla_sea which iii the public interest the recruiting authorities should approach.
