CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The ballot for sections recently acquirjed at Glenmark settlement was held today. There were 1021 applicants for 25 sections. Three applications were withdrawn and 259 rejected by the Land Board. The i-esults were: First-class land, section two: Olar-ance Henry Ward, Dunedin; section three, Alice Louise Thompson, Timaru j section f bui-, ' Albert Henry Barnes, Christchurch ; section five A. H. Jennings, Christchurch j section si*, Jofm' T. . White, Springston; section seven, Charlotte More, Marlborough; section eight, Wm. Gentleman, Washdyke; section nine, Wm. Glenpie, Oamaru; section, ten, James O'Connell, Washdvke, 'section olevon, James John Hunt, Timaru.
