At a. sale of unclaimed goods left with the Wellington Hairbor Board, a sixcylinder 90-horsepower American racing nntomobile was sold for £360. The jinachine is said to have beei^ left m Wellington by an American' millionaire, who, having toured New Zealand with it, became bored with the prospect of having to ship it back to the Stales, and simply left it on the 'Wharf, care' Jess of what became of it. It is stated that the car, which has both, a touring and a racing body, originally cost £1700. Its dashboard was covered with the metal emblems of motor touring clubs pf neai'ly every country m the world.
