HARBOR BOARD.

At yesterday's meeting of the Harbor Board the following additional business was transacted.

The monthly report of the Engineersecretary was adopted. A. grant of £10 Avas voted to the Shipwreck Relief Societv.

The Engineer-Secretary's recommendation re appointment of" cost clerk and day signalman was adopted, the same being referred to the Works Committee.

The erection of the fence at the black* smith's shop was uuthorised. Mr Preston emphasised the necessity for improving tJie light m the i-oadstcad. — The matter was deferred tmtil the I'lngineor'fi retmin.
