WELLINGTON 'DISTRICT RECRUITING.
PALMERSTON N., this day. Since the beginning of the war the Wellington Military, District has furn lshed all the quotas asked for the expeditionary contingents, also for the two new service battalions. It has 700 men in excess of requirements for the Seventh Reinforcements. The Hawera group has been tho best recruiting centre, Wellington a*nd Palmerston next m that order. The Seventh Reinforccmeitß go into camp at Trentham not earlier than June 14 or later than June 15.
