GERMAN MACHINATIONS.
PLOT IN BRAZIL. RIOD'eIaNEIRO, May 30. The Gazette de Noticias reports a widespread plot in Southern Brazil, where a large German colony supplied with arms collected at Annitopolis and intended to proclaim the independence of the State of Santa Marina. The outbreak of the war upset their plans. The Brazilian Government has notified the German Minister of the plans. RUSSIAN SCHOONER BURNED. BUBMARINE AIDS THE CREW. (Received May 31, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, May 30. A submarine burnt the Russian schooner Mars, at Fair Island, and towed the crew of seven for IQ£ hours. The crew reached Aberdeen.
