SUBMARINE ATTACKS.
A SHIRE STEAMER TORPEDOED. (Received May 29 \ 8.40 a.m.) , LONDON, May 28. The British steamer Cateby was torpedoed and sank off Wolf lighthouse. A fishing boat landed all the crew. (Received May 29, 8.55 a.m.) NEW YORK, May 28. A Liverpool message reports that the steamer Argyllshire, from Sydney, has wirelessed : "Attacked by German submarine." . -, ' LONDON, May 28. It is reported 'that the Argyllshire has been torpedoed off Land's End and is still afloat. Lloyds are re-insuring the vessel at sixty guineas per cent. (Received May 29, 12.40 p.m.) n LONDON, May 28. Passengers statu that the Cadeby was sunk ,by gunfire. The Argyllshire has arrived safely at Havre. '
