Greig led .off, and was two -to the good at the fourth' head, but Hueston th?n took a hand and scored 8 to; his opponent's 1. Greig came away, again and scored freely, adding 21 "to his score for .13 heads, whilst the other side scored- 6. T. McOonnelh W. Green, 0. Cox and T. A. Crawford (Whataupoko) 27 vv. Oxeuhani, Colebrook, _ Xhacker and Ponsford (Kaiti^ 24; This - was the closest' game ot the three, • Ponsford established a , substantial lead, at .the start, being 10 to 3 at' the 4th head,: Crawford, drew up, -and, at the Bth head the score stood at 14 all. : The rinks were on even; terms again at 'the 16th head— 2l. all, but Crawford had the best of the concluding heads. Craig's quartette collapsed afsev the 12th head, when the scores were 11 all, and, did not score again. ■ . . Totals : Whataupoko 83, Kaiti 61. TURANGANUI CLUB. The final of the J. B. Leydon fours, 1 between Power, T. Haisman, J. B. Leydon, and W. Howard (skip) v. Spiers, Eaton, Hay, and A, "Sawyer (skip) pro^ duced a .great game. Howard scored two on the* first head, and at the fourth both were ' level. Hqward then went away', and on. the ninth head vras five ;rip. Sawyer levelled things up shortly 1 after, getting m a five. From this out to the 20th head both sides' were practically on even terms. On the 20th head, -Howard was lying the -shot. Sawyer play.fed ■ a beautiful shot, taking the jack, .but,.- unfortunately, it 'struck the shot ;bowl-. and ran over to a nest of his opponents' bowls, Howard securing four. ' . Sawyer's team, with five down oh. the Jast head} made a great attempt to get on terms. When the skips went down, Sawyer was lying three/ Sawyer played two fine bowls, but did not improve, his. two bowls only missing by an inch ' or so. Howard played a fine game, and was ably assisted by his team. Sawyer did not appear to like the heavy green.
