The German cruiser Cormoran, now held at Guam, will (says the Sydney Telegraph)' probably be brought • to Honolulu to remain until the termination of the war, as a result of negotiations between the State Department at Washingon and the representatives of the Allied. Powers. Tho harbor facilities offered at Guam are declared, inadeijliate. Because of unfavorable conditions, the Cormoran is said to bo compelled to keep up steam during rou tw weather. The vessel has been forced to proceed to open sea when its safety wa_ threatened, m the l.'iriited berthing space at the naval station. To provide a safe harbor m all weather, an appeal has been made by German representatives at Washington for permission to transfer *the Corman from Guam to Honolulu. It has been suggested that the United State 1- war vessel s belonging to the Asiatic squadron act as n convoy.
