UNITED STATES' FLAG TORN DOWN.
(Press Assn.—By Telegraph— CopyrJeht.) WASHINGTON, March 25. Another insult to the American flag m Mexico has aroused bitter feeling. The Brazilian Minister has reported to Mr Bryan (Secretary for State) that according to . despatches from Mexico City Zapatists tore down thc flag flying over the house of Mi- McManus, an American citizen. Zapatists murdered McManus and looted the house.
Mr Bryan announces that reparation has already been demanded, but no reply has been received except an apology for Mr McManus' death. Mr Bryan admitted that no salute of the American flag was demanded this time.
