OFFERED BY IMMENSE CONGREGATIONS. (Received February 9, 8.5 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 8. The Pope's prayer for peace was offered at Westminster and all other Catholic churches in Europe. There were sixty thousand worshippers at Saint Peter's, Rome, and immense congregations in Paris at the Notre Dame. THE COST OF PENSIONS. (Received February 9. 8.5 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 8.
