LIFE IN BERLIN AND VENICE.
(London Times and Sydney Sun Si>m<-x« LONDON, Feb. 8. A neutral from /Berlin says the differ- - ence between Berlin and Vienna is very marked. The war has made life in Vienna livelier owing to the streams of wealthy Galician refugees lavishly spending. The museums and the universtiy *- have been transformed into hospitals. Compared witii Berlin, there is less talk of spies and less bitterness against England is heard. Berlin is described as all optimism and seriousness, and Vienna all pessimism and gaiety. The Viennese 'do not take the happy issue of the» war for granted as the Berliners do, but still they have great confidence in their powerful ally. '
