ARTILLERY DUELS. GROUND GAINED AND COUNTERATTACKS REPULSED. PARIS, December 25. Official : There . is intermittent artillery fighting in Belgium. The Allies between Lys and the Oise on Monday evening reached a point where the roads meet in front of Loos Rutoire and Loos Vermelles. The Allies captured part of the village of La Boiselle, which is north-east of Albert, and have also made some progress at Lihu, near Chaulnes, where various attacks were carried out with much spirit. Everywhere they maintained ground gained. The Allies' artillery has overthrown the defensive organisation on the plateau of Mouvran. Thqro have been artillery, duels on the Aisne and at Champagne.
