TWO THOUSAND TURKS WOUNDED (Reoeived November 25, 1.10 pirn.) LONDON, Nov. 24. < Official: General Barrett reports that the Union Jack was hoisted at Basrah, m the Persian Gulf, and was acclaimed by the inhabitants. British merchants estimate that the Turkish wounded brought to Basrah after the action on November 17 num--ber two thousand.
