(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. The libel action, New Zealand Times v. the Dominion, claiming £3000 damages, has been settled} the Dominion agreeing to publish the following statement of the terms of settlement: — "The libel action, New Zealand Times v. the Dominion, has been settled. We regret the differences which led to this action, and we recognise that the attitude of the two juries which have already heard the case shows that our article complained of, is; m the opinion of many, open to an interpretation of the New Zealand Times, The Dominion desires to emphasise the fact that whatever words were used ; m the article complained of, it was not intended to put to the New Zealand, Times any bad faith or any intention of favoring anjarchism to the extent to which our article conveys that impression; We desire to express regret andi! as interest of our sincerity m expressing this regret, we have agreed to put the- sunn of £100 as costs to the New' Zealand Times."
