For Italy, as for France, as for our separated brothel's of Trajan Dacia, as for every nation of Mediterranean culture, it is a question of waging a supreme combat against the imminent menace of slavery and extermiination. • ."This war. is- not- a simple, conflict of intereste,- which may be transitory and various^ . or • even, illusory. It is something far deeper,^abolisbilaig. the, lapse of time and the development oij mankind by its bestial and primoruial character. It is. a struggle of races, an opposition of irreconcilable powers,., a trial of breeds which the enemies of the Latin name are carrying oh according to the ihost ancient law ,q£ violence, :.'."
