The Admiralty return of naval expenditure for tlie current year shows that Britain spent fifty-two millions, Germany twenty-three millions, France twenty-five, Russia ijwenty^ax, Italy, ten, Japan ten Austria seven, I and America thirty millions. The personnel of the Entente Powers is 280,000 men, and of Germany and Austria 102,000- men.,
