APPEAL FOR CALMNESS
The London Daily^Teleg'raph of Aug. 3rd, contains the following appeal from the Navy League: — We received the following from the Navy League yesterday : "The Navy- League makes-, a •special appeal to the members' of its organisation throughout - the British Empire -arid to the general public of these islands, to exercise the qualities of calm and reserve m the present' grave international crisis_" .'
