In addition to the abovo several of the men who were unable to get away with the previous quota will also leave on Friday, making the total between 35 and 40. Medical examination of volunteers will be resumed at 7.30 tonight, and this "will, conclude SurgeonCaptain Williams' duties m connection with the enrolment m the meantime, unless Major Beere receives further advice to-night* There are 33 men who have already passed the medical test, so _ that should^ a further quota be required from Gisborne they will be sent forward. It is expected that the equipment of the men who leave on Friday will bo completed by to-morrow night.
