A builder named ,Crou lard, living at Champigny, • disappeared last week, and a friend of Cronlard, named Gost, actively assisted m the search, and led Croulard's dog on a leash away from a rubbish heap on which it had been lying. The dog returned to the heap and uhearthed Croulard's mutilated body.) Croulard's watch was found amongst Gost's belongings. Madame Croulard planned the murder of ; her husband. Gost and Madame Croulard and an accomplice named Lamy were arrested, and confessed.
